Welcome to the official website of the Delta Iota,, chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraterinity Incorporated. We are set to bring forth another exciting year for the Fraternity. We are gearing up for a calendar full of social events, volunteer opportunities, and charitable endeavors as we celebrate Kappa Kappa Psi's 105th year as a fraternity. Our primary focus remains on serving the Marching 100, Music Department, and community as we promote having a positive impact towards all. In Delta Iota,, we do not make leaders, we attract leaders and Foster leadership. The Marching 100
The Florida A&M’s Marching “100” was founded one June 1, 1946, by our then band director, Dr. William P. Foster. Since then, our incomparable band program has remained amongst the top HBCU marching bands in the country. Our past directors include Dr. William P. Foster, Dr. Julian E. White, Dr. Sylvester Young, and our current director of bands, Dr. Shelby R. Chipman. This legacy of high quality musicianship has brought about many notable performances such as the 1983 Super Bowl halftime show, the 2009 presidential inauguration parade for Barack Obama, as well as a 2022 paris performance for Louis Vuitton. These performances show just a small glimpse of the excellence produced by our band program!
